i less than three you. - PHY

For Class 2007-2008

Three years ago we came into Newfield with great hopes.  We were excited to finally be "free".  Don’t you remember thinking that you were so much cooler now that you were in high school?  At the same time, we were freshmen and we looked up to the seniors, whether we will ever admit it or not.  We couldn’t wait until we were the heads of the school…we couldn’t wait until we caught senioritis, for senior cut day, prom, and most of all, graduation.  We knew the road was going to be long, but we would get there.

Two years ago we were accustomed to high school life.  We knew how to cut class without getting caught and we started to know the ins and outs of the school.  We made friends with the upperclassmen and joined new clubs.  We deviated away from the same groups of a few close friends and expanded to a circle of new ones.  We were not upperclassmen yet, but we were happy we weren’t the babies of the school.

One year ago, we stepped into school as juniors.  We could finally be classified as part of the upperclassmen!  Our junior year was hardest because we had to start looking for colleges and many of us took difficult classes.  We realized that this year, above all, would impact the decisions of colleges, and ultimately the rest of our lives.  We grew up that year, took on responsibility and stopped the immature things we used to do.  We watched some of our best friends graduate and began realizing how difficult leaving this school would be even though we always said how much we hated it.

This year we are seniors.  We knew this year was going to be a life-altering one but we also knew that this would be the best.  This is the time for celebrating your friendships and ending silly fights with your enemies.  We’ve had to apply to colleges, write essays for scholarships, and wait patiently for our acceptance letters.  Some of us have opted to not to go to college but they still know the pressures we feel.  We have been planning prom activities and making final decisions on the place we will be spending the next couple of years.  We have truly embraced the idea of finally making it to the top.  We know now that this will be ending soon and that time flew by way too fast.  Instead of saying our goodbyes too early, we have to remember to cherish the time that we still have together..the time before things change.

Four years feels like forever, but forever’s come and gone, and now it’s time to graduate, it’s time to finally move on. Looking back on memories, thinking on the past, ready to grow up quickly, but wanting youth to last. Looking at my classmates, I wonder where they’ll be, and what their lives will bring them, and whether they’ll remember me. It’s just so hard to imagine, how fast the time goes by, it seems like only yesterday, we were still in junior high. But now we’ve gotten older, and just a little more mature, ready to step into the world, to do what, we’re just not sure. Though the good times and the bad, have prepared us for this day, it’s just so hard to let go, goodbye is so hard to say. But life is waiting for us, it’s not gonna pass us by, so the time has come to live our dreams, to spread our wings and fly.

Next year, wherever we all end up, we will still have our memories

Saunz man ni?? graduate ntah,. bye guys,. hope ull remember me.

I can relate with you, four years seems like forever! yesterday, we were just green alligators who only know to play and make dumb things but as time flew faster, we then realize the importance of one another. Its just the memories that will prevail:]
